Snow Day

Today Cody and I are home keeping warm inside the house! We started on our way to town for work, but the roads are terrible! So we turned around! Here are some pictures from today.

This and That

Here are a few pictures of us taken lately. Cody is walking now full time. He doesn't spend too much time crawling. Of course this has led to many bumps and tumbles, but he is getting the hang of it.
It's hilarious watching him burn around the house!

Wobbly Boy

Here Cody is learning to walk. He first walked at 16 months and 1 week. It was just a few steps. Now about 1 week later he is taking approx 15 steps at a time. So cute!

Learning to Stand

Here is Cody learning to stand and push around his walker. He has finally figured out that pushing it is lots of fun and that he can really get places!

He has always enjoyed playing outside and he loves that ticycle tha Judo bought him. He just can't wait until he is old enough to ride it. For now he will just pretend!

Dirty Work

This is what I do when my mommy doesn't pay attention to me:
1. Hide in the spare room
2. Dig in the plant pot
3. Spread dirt all over the rug and rub it on the chair
4. Smile for the camera

Hi it's me Cody, and this year I am Tigger for Halloween. I am not too happy about wearing this costume, but my Mommy says I have to wear it for a little while today. My Sito thought it was soooo cute and couldn't stop laughing at me. I think she likes me...look at her fridge in the background of the picture of me and her.

Bubbles are fun

Now that Cody has learned to stand on a chair, I can't do dishes or anything at the counter without him. He will crawl under the table, try and push one of the chairs out to indicate that he wants to stand beside me! It's very cute and special to me. I like standing next to him, because he enjoys splashing in the sink and otherwise helping me. He's my little sidekick.

Something he is not so fond of is being my touque model. I need a little head for the childrens touques I make and he is the only one around. So sometimes he is wearing a boys touque and other times a girls! His chubby cheeks look so cute with a little "skully" on his head!

Currently his vocabulary consists of "Yaahahahah" when he is excited he shouts that out, "Diss" for anything he wants or wants to show you", "Hi", and "ruff ruff" when you ask him "What does Billie say"?

Mommy's Helper

This year our garden was such a mess. And it didn't produce hardly anything worth keeping. One pail of carrots, and maybe 3 pails of potatoes. I admit I didn't take great care of it, but I really couldn't be bothered when all it did was rain. I just gave up trying to tame the jungle of weeds!
A few weekends ago I had to wash the carrots and put them away. And Cody being the little man that he is couldn't stand to have me at the sink. So he pulled at my legs until I finally let him up. Now his new favorite thing is to stand on a chair and "help" Mommy.
I get such a kick at the way he poses for the camera!
On October 1, 2010 he turned 15 mos old! I can't believe how the time is flying by.

Fall Fun!

Today we went out to the field to see the progress our neighbour Bruce is making on the bales. I decided to grab the camera and take a few pictures of Cody. The weather is beautiful out, a big change from the cool and wet summer! The leaves are colorful. This is my favourite time of the year!
